Dk8 weapons feel stronger than before with new damage/combo system.
Is there gonna be made some chances to dk weapons?

I still dont undestand CAD, does it add bonus damage to last combo hit only or mix it up with earlier hits

Edit. after some testing with dk rapier2+ and ancient exceptional esterk cad2.
Based on my tests, DK8 should deal damage like this 18 - 22 - 26 - 30
For ancient exceptional esterk cad7 it should go like this 12 - 23 - 27 - 31
With rapier damage is 1 lower.
Edit. I had dm1+ equipped

So DK8 weapon is slightly better than cad7 ancient exceptional

why if not or like you say yourself dont understand cad
why than even say what you thingk the dam should be


so no cad +4 dont mean base dam +x.4 for every hit
but means base dam +4 for every hit after first (in combo)
the combo part (3hits after 1st)
you get combo bonus for hits +4cad
means for weapon base dam 20 cad+4
first hit 20
second hit ; 20 base dam+1combo dam+cad4=25
3th hit ; 20base dam+3 combo dam+cad4=27
4th hit ; 20 base dam+5 combo dam+cad4=29

you !!! don't !!! get base bonus (+combo bunus)+x.4
first hit 20
2dehit 20+4 (+1)=24 (25)
3hit 20+4+4 (+3)=28 (32)
4th hit 20+4+4+4 (+5)=32 (37)

but stil there is deviation maybe somewhere is still dice rolling (crush dam)
(that may be why dint see the formula)
dont see difrence in math , ask some teach
so for a ancient exceptional esterk cad7 (if base dam is 12 didnt check)
12 - 20 - 22 - 24 (with crush possibility on every hit)

nothing in hb is straigth line , look at ma gear
+9ma+9ma+12ma = 26ma ????
always thought 9+9+12 was 30

I'm not saying what the damage should be, numbers are just based on my testing with cad2 ancient exc esterk and Dk2+ rapier and final numbers are only assumptions 8-)

First hit is 11
I had dm1 equipped on earlier tests i forgot that on (sorry for that)

Ancient cad2 except esterk with 65 strenght(fencing talent) against dummy deals 11 - 17 - 21 - 25
So using my simple minded logic, I made assumption that cad7 would deal damage like 11-22-26-30

that assumption should be correct
just count all +5 but
hb wont be helbreath if it was simple

take dam mage
you shoot whitout ring dam 22
you use a ring of mage (+4) ---> dam 24

and beside that there also the small-medium - large damage what still seems make some diffrence

maybe with mage it's base dame +ring then tha ma off the monsters
could be same for dummy , war base dam + ring than comes the pha
so dont be suprised if that +5 becomes a +3

There is no damage difference with size anymore.

yea i know you ment small-large to be gone
but honnestly , i'm not gona test it under the circumstances on beta server
why not , becuse the only result will be me getting killed more than do real testing

Hi Cleroth,

what is your take on the DK sword?

When DK Sword + 10 or 15 is implemented,
The usage of FLAMB / GIANT SWORD / BAXE / SMALL HAMMER with stats (Sharp/Ancient) became pretty worthless in the game.

Just a suggestion, if taking away the DK Sword, i think all these item becomes more meaningful and players are able to be more focus on how they would want to build their characters.

With level of 140,
Some warriors might want to be a flam user 130 str
or Giant sword user 160 str
Baxe user 170 str

Therefore there is more varieties and items are more valuable.

Just a suggestion.
