Well lets see if this 5% less stunning makes a difference but keep an eye on events Cleroth and if things keep going like now that most weapons in events are bows then like torana said, something still wrong.
Bow is not suppose to be main weapon.

Just a thought here: What if you could try to set that normal bow hit = no stun, just blue dmg.
Crit bow = stun like 1-2 crits = 1 stun. You will get stunned but not for so long. Just thinking.

Yea, it does on mobs as well. Note that to halve the DR you needed to be facing the same direction as your opponent (it's not really just from 'behind'), so it may not trigger as often as you'd think.

Does this hitting from behind change also effect hitting monsters from behind?

For example my bro and I have finally geared up enough to chain through demons as a 2 man without using pots. Naturally this relies on 1 person tanking and the other hitting from behind.

Will this DR change from behind have a significant impact on my hit ratio from behind?

It does. However if you do hit them you actually will end up having higher damage than before, due to bows now having CAD damage.

Hmm the higher damage sounds good however doesn't CAD rely on hitting repeatedly? With the higher DR of the demon I'm assuming it will be hard to hit it repeatedly therefore loseing any benefit from CAD?

Off topic I'd also like to address a comment made by somebody saying people only play hb for PvP. This is ridiculous. I'd say MORE people play for PvP but I'd wager there are quite a few like my bro and I who play for PvM. Therefore I ask people who have a pvp bias to also consider the PvM implications when suggesting a nerf/change. An example of this is asking for the reduced stun factor. This helps mages survive in pvp however for a tank who needs that stun to stop a GG or Demon from hitting him consecutively in PvM it is a large nerf.

Actually I just realized I only changed it for players. So it's still being halved for NPCs.
And the stun ratio works differently for NPCs, so that's unchanged as well.
So really, bows have only been buffed for PvM, except for crits.

The reason bows stun so hard is probably because the game is so much smoother and faster reacting, meaning it's easier to ''click'' with spells and also with bows, just my 2 cents
